I’m Belinda Jarman and have been teaching for 11 years, having done most of my training in KS2, moving into EYFS was somewhat of a culture shock! I am now a true convert; seeing first-hand the incredible progress our youngest children make through a carefully curated mix of play and directed activities. I am passionate about the power of play, particularly outdoors and loose parts provision. I am a strong believer in working together with families and communities and place huge importance of the unique joy and wonder of early childhood. My mantra is more rat's heads and less plastic... you will have to ask me in person what I mean by this.
