From Classroom to Coastline
Year 4 took our Rivers unit beyond the classroom and into the foreshore in Greenwich! We explored how the River Thames has changed over time, investigated the history behind the materials found along its banks, and then became real mudlarkers ourselves. The children uncovered a range of fascinating artefacts — including a stone estimated to be over 800 years old!A fantastic, sunny and thoroughly informative day that brought our Geography learning to life.Thank you to all our parents for your support in making this trip possible!
