Science in Yr 2
This week, Year 2 were inspired by the incredible story of Mae Jemison and the impact she has had on science and space exploration. 🌍✨The children carried out a gravity experiment, exploring mass and weight and learning how objects fall due to gravity at different speeds. ⚖️⬇️To finish the lesson, the children imagined they were travelling to space just like Mae Jemison and decided on the most important items they would take with them. 🧑🚀🎒What an exciting and inspiring Science Week lesson!
